PRIMARY BUSINESS OUTCOME
Network Sync Latency in Local Hotspot & Online Multiplayer
< 30ms

01 // SYSTEM OVERVIEW

TassHub is a dedicated mobile gaming hub for traditional Asian card games. It features seamless online matchmaking, local Wi-Fi/Hotspot peer-to-peer rooms for zero-data gameplay, and offline mode against intelligent AI bots.

THE CHALLENGE

Card games like Callbreak and Marriage require zero-latency turn synchronization, accurate scorekeeping, and bulletproof network reconnect logic to handle sporadic mobile connections. Creating a smooth peer-to-peer hotspot mode without requiring external router infrastructure was another critical engineering requirement.

THE ARCHITECTURE SOLUTION

Using Flutter, we built a crisp 60 FPS table interface with tactile card gestures and sound effects. Node.js and WebSockets with Redis handle real-time online game rooms, while an embedded local socket server enables direct P2P play over phone Wi-Fi hotspots without internet data.

02 // ARCHITECTURAL BLUEPRINT

Flutter game client with custom card shaders, 60fps animations, and tactile haptic feedback
Real-time WebSocket multiplayer server orchestrated with Node.js and Redis session caching
Local P2P socket discovery engine enabling multiplayer over phone Wi-Fi hotspot without mobile data
Offline heuristic AI bot engine running on-device for uninterrupted offline practice sessions
Dockerized backend infrastructure for straightforward containerized deployment

03 // VERIFIED PRODUCTION OUTCOMES

Zero-data local hotspot multiplayer allowing friends to play anywhere anytime
Ultra-low turn latency under 30ms with instant reconnect state reconciliation
Smooth 60 FPS mobile rendering across both entry-level and flagship smartphones
